Hi, and welcome to my page. My name is Brooke, and I'm 17 years old. I am crazy about horses, and I currently own two of them. | ||||||||||||||||

the horses: Z's Dusty Jewel (D.J.) is my first horse. she is a 16 year old, 15.1 hand tall, Appaloosa mare. She is very roaned out, with a long, thick, black mane and tail. I used to use her for everything from trailriding, to jumping, to Western riding, to galloping around breback like a wild Banchee! Unfortunately, about a year and a half ago, I found out that she has ringbone, which is a form of arthritis. with the help of an excellent farrier, I'm able to keep her sound. However, I can no longer use her for jumping, or any hard work that requires tight turns. So, I keep her as a pleasure horse. Teacher J. R. (J. R.) is my other horse. He is a 10 year old, 15.2 hand, Thoroughbred gelding. He's chestnut, and his only marking is a white star/stripe on his face. I bought him during this past May, so I would have a horse to use for jumping and showing. He is a great guy, with a ton of personality! | ||||||||||||||||

me: Well, this is a subject that I won't stay on for very long. Again, my name is Brooke, and I'm 17 years old. I live in New Jersey. I have always loved horses, and when I was 12 years old, I was lucky enough to become involved at a stable near my house (Slim's Ranch). Less than a year later, I was working there. I bought my first horse (D.J.) from 'the ranch', when I was 13 years old. Since then, the barn relocated and I moved to a new stable. I bought another horse, and keep my horses at a farm, with the horses of a family that I'm friends with (the LeVines). | ||||||||||||||||
